Pennsylvania Native. Oregon resident. My name is Chris Williams and I have had a deep passion for fishing and the outdoors for as long as I can remember. The first time I picked up a fly rod I was about 9 years old. When most kids were inside playing video games my friends and I were waist deep in mud catching snapping turtles and riding our bikes to nearby trout streams.
But it wasn’t until after returning home from my last deployment in Afghanistan, where the start of what I’m now, began. Shortly after returning home I started working with my local VA, taking veterans out to teach them how to fly fish and how to spin up flies. This experience not only had a positive impact on their lives, but it also gave me a renewed sense of purpose, helping me discover what I truly wanted to do moving forward with my life.

Whether we are throwing dries for native redsides or swinging for wild chrome, you’re going to leave the river at the end of the day a better and more knowledgeable angler. My goal is to give you the same experience I crave for each time I step into the river.
